Though officially I’m known as Ayantika, I prefer people calling me ‘Emily’, as that brings an idea of dearness. I have started this blog out of sheer curiosity and hence I’m a little worried about my continuity knowing myself very well. Born and brought up in Kolkata, a city with various edges like tradition, religion, festivity, history and politics. My preferences are always surrounded by the first four keeping the fifth distant from myself. I dare to call myself an artist but sketching and painting have replaced my boredom and now we are partners to mess around.
